JYFL CHEER DIVISIONS

CHEER CUBS: 1st - 3rd GRADE / $150

An introduction to cheer leading for the younger participants. They practice 1 or 2 times per week with 1 game on Saturday.

CHEER JUNIORS: 4th - 6th GRADE / $195

Second level of the cheer program where simple stunting is introduced. They practice 2-3 times per week with 1 game on Saturday.

CHEER SENIORS: 7th - 8th GRADE / $195

A program for the first time or veteran participants. This program is a mix of just for fun and preparation for high school cheer. They practice 3-4 times per week with 1 or 2 games on a Saturday and/or Wednesday. Occasionally, a Senior division cheer team may be combined from all Senior division teams to form a Senior Cheer Travel Team. The Cheer Travel team may travel to other communities for post-season events, or even out of state in preparation of the participants moving on to the competitive high school programs.

All cheer uniform components are provided by the league and the participants retain the undergarments, team t-shirts, and pom poms at season's end.
